I'm finally making the time to thank the people that were responsible for making our resent trip/vacation one of the best experiences of my life.
Taner, in Ephesus, couldn't have been a better choice. His teaching background added to his ability to communicate so much information to us. He kept us all enthralled. There were eight cruise ships that had arrived on the same date as ours. So you can just imagine the crowds. Taner still managed to find a shady spot to stand in or a stone to sit on. He was wonderful!!! Thank you.
In my professional life, before retirement, I was in management, and I have to tell you that I have nothing but admiration for Deniz; our guide in Istanbul. She had received, at your suggestion and my request, an itinerary, that was unattainable do to the walking health issues that had developed with some of my friends. Her ability to adjust and guide us through some of the most memorable museum sites that I have ever seen, was for me, almost life altering. I am ashamed to say that I knew very little about your country. As a result of this visit, I can't wait to learn more.
She is a great representative for her city and her culture. She was a gift to all of us. I hope you thank her again for me, and for us.
But you, Kagan----You were the greatest gift. Thank you for all your caring in the planning for our trip. Your suggestions and arrangements were exceptional. I wish you well in all you do--Take care of yourself.
