Days in Istanbul / Istanbul walks... :

A sample itinerary... from Suleymaniye, strolling down market areas, Golden Horn and Taksim area.
We are coming & meeting guests at the hotel. Starting at 9am, this walking tour is over around 4pm.

As we meet guests at their hotel, depending on where the hotel is located, either we are taking a taxi or using public transportation to
the Mosque of Suleyman (Ottoman, 500 years old).
After visiting the mosque, we are walking down to the coast through a very colorful local market.
The far end of this walk is
Spice Market (Ottoman, 400 years old).
Arriving to Spice Market, we are in Golden Horn area.
Walking over the bridge connecting both sides of Golden Horn is like walking between stages of history... from the Old City to the city of 19th. Century. Next stop is
Galata Tower (Byzantine, 600 years old); offering great views of the city in clear days.
Lastly & finally, we are walking along a pedestrian street, loaded with locals at all times, full of local shops, local restaurants, cafe houses, etc.
This walk leads us to Taksim area; one of the city centers of Istanbul.
Depending on where the hotel of our guests is located, we are either walking back or taking a taxi / using public transportation to the hotel.

Rate of the day is 150 Euros (in total, not per person).
This is the rate of our tour guiding services on walking tours.

Please note that we prefer to keep the group size maximum at 6 guests for this walking tour since some of the locations we are visiting will be heavily crowded with locals. There is always a risk of loosing one & another while walking along very crowded narrow streets / alleys.

This rate does not include:
* museum admission fees of our guests,
* personal expenses of our guests such as lunches (if necessary) & drinks,
* taxi or public transportation expenses to cover distances (if any)

Remarks:
** the only reason we are not including museum admission fees into this rate is simply because this is a private tour and we, as your tour guides, are very happy taking our guests to one or ten different museums / locations in a day, all depending on personal interests.
** the rate you find above is the rate valid in 2009.
** the rate you find above is quoted in Euros. On the other hand, we are very happy to be paid in Euros, US Dollars or local currency (TL).
